It wouldn't technically give him any 'powers'. i think people are misunderstanding what roadking is calling moderating

he will only have the ability to move threads to the correct place, approve accounts wishing to post in the SPAM thread. and keeping tabs on transactions in the special sticky allocated to transaction feedback. IMO, 3 useful functions that IMO no one else would be able to or want to do consistently

If the thread doesn't work as is, I'd be more inclined to whack it rather than try to add to it's complexity. It's really just a nice perk being allowed. Can of worms any other way...
