So how does one differentciate(sp?!?) between the two if they are both listed as just See thru black where i've seen them.. just the picture/photo supplied? which sometimes is just a stock image from esp it seems!

Sorry if im confused and finding it hard to understand!

So any see thru black with an ash body is like that not the quilted effect ones?

totally different wood

Ash has a pretty unique grain

same with types of figured maple (flamed/quilted)

I'm just trying to figure out hoiw to find the see thru blacks that look like this

they're 2 different guitars man, 2nd one is a horizon 2, first one is a horizon 1 but I don't think they make the horizon 1 in see through black anymore

It's actually Horizon NT or Horizon FR and Horizon FR II or Horizon NT II, Horizon I is an Original Series model.
Horizon NT is still available in see-thru black.

I am broke and no job.. but still I search out the Horizon.
I went to the Birmingham NEC yesterday to a festival and Music Live was on so I took a gander and found an ESP Horizon with floyd...

Gave it a good try, seemed to use the floyd for fun noises, as you do..

It was a red one.. the finish is quilted? I haven't seen any see thru ones that aren't quilted.. are they older ones then?

There are flame maple tops also available in the export markets
