Engl Fireball

man not so long ago i was thinking of selling the engl fireball to maybe upgrade to something bigger and more versatile .but god damn i can't part with this amp as ive grown very attached to this little beauty over the years and just couldn't bare to see it go.im now just using it as the amp alone no eq no overdrive just a noise gate tuner & delay and sometimes a chorus and it just sounds fantastic.even at low levels it sounds great i love this amp and i will deff say this is prob one of the best amps in its price range an absolute pleasure to play and mines is going to be a keeper.

ps was tempted to go line 6 but theres no way inhell line modelling is going to compete with real tube tone from a beauty of an amp like this .

yes bro

plenty of mids 2' 3' gains ussually quite enough halfway, bass at 2 ,trebble 2 pres depends how bright u want the fireball to sound your choice .

good eq very useful really tightens up the fb brings it to life something good like an mxr 10 band eq im selling one as it happens sorry couldnt resist it just call me del boy.

u r going to need a good noise gate as well go for an isp decimator and stick it in the loop along with the eq then your all set, dont forget good quality speaker cable .

I'd like to be ampless here shortly i think. Dunno what im gonna do though.

Im just wondering, are there any different Fireballs ? I noticed my friend's Fireball (which he bought new recently) has different knobs than mine (which is 2 or 3 years old), so did they just start using different knobs or are there any other differences ?

Probably not, but just thought I'd point it out
