New Guitar Day (and family pic)

I'll get a less blurry shot later, but check it out! I ordered the damn thing (the VTB) on Dec. 23 and it just came in on Friday. No complaints yet except for the new Magnum tuners. They're ok, but I'm used to Sperzels and these ain't no Sperzels. The ebony board feels like glass compared to the 400AT and the inlays are amazing.

The only store that carries ESP's down here rarely ever have them in stock, so they usually have to be by order.

You don't know how many times I've walked into Tom Lee Richmond hoping they had one in stock, Deadpulse. Patience really isn't my thing, especially when it comes to wanting a guitar. /sigh
Since you just got yours, I should probably go check if they have any. Shit. /marks something on to-do list

I think once you get the hang of the magnum locks, they aren't that bad at all. I like them.

Thanks for all the kind words dude. I finally got to sit down and play the thing for a few hours yesterday and I can't believe how amazing it is. I know people always say that ESP's blow LTD's out of the water, but I never knew how much of a difference there was until I A-B'd them. The neck profiles are the same on the 2 guitars, but the VTB feels 10x more solid and comfortable. There are a few paint flaws on it, but I figure I'll do much more damage to it anyway. Either than that, I LOVE this guitar

Yeah that's where I got mine. They're starting to get more stuff in stock now (like the ebony series and digi-camo JH-200 which are both super nasty guitars)

I'll give them a fair chance, but my band is hittin the road next month and I don't think I'll be using them if they don't wow me really soon. I had to re-tune like every 2 - 3 songs with these things which is way off from my sperzels (which is like every 5 -6 songs)

I know a place where you can get gold 3+3 Sperzels

Good luck on tour!
