Help Me!!! Ima get a Mac!!!

ima get the new iMac 20" but heres what I found which i have a question on.

in the cnet review site, "The bad: No word on means of upgrading to Apple's new Leopard OS when it's released;"
should i worry about the new OS thatll come out? will apple probably make it compatible?

oh and is there any sites or places you guys know where apples are cheaper? not the general benchmark prices. or are they like mesa's and monster cables where they dont allow lower prices. and can you haggle at an Apple store or at Best Buy?

If you need to haggle for an apple, you might wanna downgrade to a peach, or some other less enjoyable fruit. Their prices are set in stone. The blue-tooth mouse is badass, you'll like it.

On a side note:I had a g5, & i love my custom pc (ibuypower ftw) so much more. Nothing like having your platform supported by every major brand/company/developer on the planet.

You should either wait until leopard is released, or I heard if you buy a mac within 60 days of a new OS release (this is what they did for panther and tiger) you can upgrade for $10. However, Leopard will be worth the wait and I'd advise waiting for it unless my above story is confirmed

Leopard will be released in October, no date has been set yet, but it will probably be near the end of October because apple will probably want as much time as possible

Ok, you will find it hard to get Mac cheaper, very hard. So put up with the stock prices, even though they are VERY good for what you get. And of COURSE Leopard will work with the new Macs, where the HELL did you get that from? It goes without saying. Apple won't released a whole new operating system that won't run on current hardware, that is bloody stupid!

So yeah, if you can afford it, get one, they look intense. I have a Macbook myself and love it!

MAC FTW!!!
Prices are set in stone, but I currently have a macbook for my regular computer, and run a mac mini in my house and at the tattoo shop. My son is currently using my old ibook, which is still rock solid.
Once you go Mac, you'll never go bac.
