yup. this country rock whatever band thing I've been doing covers a few of their songs, and the other members are all big fans.

They get my respect a little...they've been just doing thier thing for like 10 years or something and just gradually built up their fanbase on their own to where they got signed...So for buttrock, they have been a pretty DIY band.

they have almost 300K "fans" on Facebook and they sell out clubs around here, so I dont think they are all that bad.

GG2, what spurred the comments? I'm sure you've played with them at some state fair and you guys "totally had more people there for us" (or who you were emulating). I can't help but crack up when the tribute band guy barks up comments about bands at least trying to do their own thing.

I just went to youtube and listened to like 20 of their songs. The only one I recognized from the radio was "Loves Bites." Not sure why GG2 is mad because their style seems to be like Buckcherry and AX7, both bands he likes. I would also put them in the Evanescence/Seether/3 Days Grace category. Some songs are like Nickelback style as well.

I can kinda fathom when people get jealous of, or annoyed by success of bands they don't like. But annoyed by attention being given to bands despite some percieved lack of success. I just don't understand.

And yes, "Would" both for the girl and the guitar. Both would probably have to be blacked-out for me to have them though.
