I'm in the same boat, just trying to finish up a song now. All is well, picked up a new cab a few days ago that I still need to do a thread about. Unsuccessfully trying to sell my other one, of course.
"This clip proves how much of the recording quality is in the player's performance. None of the instruments tones are what I'd call spectacular, but it still sounds damn great."
That is quite the compliment, thank you very much. However, listening to it again, I can hear just how damn rusty I really am...
Cool! That should be fun. I actually did record a pop/rock band but it came out really bad. The guitarists were terrible and they couldn't even double track...
Yeah, I have actually... http://www.myspace.com/curseofdeformity is the first band I did, and this is the other: http://www.myspace.com/arktide CoD is a grindcore band, and Arktide is a folk/melodic death metal band. I charged around $15/hour for CoD. Not too bad. I might actually start producing bands again for like $10 an hour, if I can get my hands on a kick mic and some decent overheads
