Dude, are gregs custom impulses really worth 100 bucks? I know you got yours for $50. Even that seems ALOT to me for 1 impulse. Are they that much better then the redwires?

I think i'll be able to fix my problems by messing with the asio buffer. The wireless card is indeed off. Thanks for the help matt.

I'm not sure. I'll have to look. But as you know, in the mix control, there is an option for Firewire Latency and ASIO Buffer. I turned the ASIO to like 200 something, I think it was set at 500 something from the factory.

Once again, not positive, I can get back to you on that when I get back from school today.

What are your recording computer specs?

I've gone through and adjusted some things on my laptop to improve the performance of the Saffire. At first I was getting MAJOR clicks and pops/lags when only recording 2 tracks at a time.

What else can I do? Will a TI Firewire card really make much of a difference? I bought a Dynex one, but its not TI. We're talking Express Card here. Any recommendations on a better one?
