Well the 7200 is on its way as is the black nickel nut just need to get new tuners Jackplate (gotoh) and knobs, know where I can score some high quality black nickel knobs? I can always opt for Ibanez cosmo ones.

My tech is quite excited to be messing with another kahler again, hopefully the new tusq nut will help along with getting it setup right, realised the other day i'd lowered the rear studs which was probably causing too mucih angle for the rollers I'll hopefully get used to setting it up....

I love the fact I can get completely new sounds from it though and it has much greater range for subtle vibrato, pics when its all done ill try to pick up volume one soon too just let me know when the albums done...

had to be postponed due to other things however I should be able to order the black nickle 7200 soon along with the new nut and locking nut figured I'd go for a graphtech nut I'll try to pickup volume 1 of the comic too, I did see the indivudual issues but figured i'd be better off with the volumes as i'd probablyh loose the single ones.. will hopefully get the kahler withina few days/weeks got a few ibanez parts on ebay to fund them...new thread when it's done

The guitar arrived today very pleased with it, kahler seems awesome so far, what size allen key would I need to unclamp the locknut? seems like every allen key i've got is too big or too small, guessing it's an imperial size?

Cool didnt know those ex's came with chrome hardware stock, cant wait to trry out the liquifire in the neck might get one for my RG 550...

Im excited to see how the kahlers differ and experiment with new sounds funny how much inspiration new gear can give...

I did wonder if it was the 7200 still should be good anyways out of curiosity howcome you went with chrome on this model rather than Black nickle, imo the nickle would really blend with the colour scheme, are the tuners stock LTD tuners or Gotohs?

I've heard the Norton gets "hissy" under a Mesa like gain application. I take it your experience is different?

Tone Zone, yay or nay in the bridge of my Ash ESP Vintage Plus. I can't jive with the PAF Pro, but I still want something very "full". I also have a Super 3, but I feel that's a tad "hot". Thoughts?
