I most definitely am returning this 30 gig video iPod I got recently and I will be getting the 80 gig monster for the same price. Double the battery life, and more than double the storage, who can lose?

If they've released a 160Gb ipod this time around, all signs point to the next generation being 320Gb.

Close enough? or do you want to wait till the generation after where it'll be 500Gb.

It depends what route they take: Keep pursuing a model with a hard disk that can reach insane capacities, or start over and go to solid state flash drives at around 30GB or so.

Yeah if the Nano's had more storage capacity I would opt for one these days. I hated the tall thin design but love the new one.
