I always thought they looked alot different in shape as Jacksons KV's.

That's because they are different. The top one is a KKV and the black guitar is a Jackson V...IIRC a Double Rhoads.

yes, that's the double rhoads, it's the shape ESP normally uses but has the Jackson bevels instead of the ESP ones.

So ESP uses the jackson KV shape.. I had no idea about that. I like it alot and If I knew ESP did that I would have never even bothered looking at a Jackson.

no it's not the KV shape, the KV is smaller...well...technically, the original King V (double rhoads) had 22 frets and was for rob crosby, then mustaine picked it up, they shortened the wings and added 2 frets.

ESP V = DR (double rhoads)

No way, I never knew that. I knew the ESP's were longer, but I didn't know they were based on the DR's...that's kool, I always wanted a longer V, may have to look into an ESP/LTD V now...I do prefer the Jacko bevels though...

Yep, ESP use the DR shape for it's Vees like the DV8, but has different bevels.

However this one has the body shape of a Double Rhoads and Jackson bevels...it's awesome...!:eek:

I doubt you can order this guitar outside of Japan.

yeah Nileguy tried to order it without the "cutout" in-between the wings for his and they wouldn't let him at least if I remember :/
