I can't decide if I should buy ESP LTD EC500s or ESP LTD H500, so I got some questions for you guys.
Anyone with experience of any of those guitars who could give me some advice?
Which guitar do you think is most worth it's price (the price are almost the same)?
EC500s got "Stop Tailpiece" and H500 "string-Thru-Body" what's the difference?
I have never played whit a guitar without any inlays or dots on the frets (like the EC500s) do you get used to it easily?
Thanks in advance.

There is a school of thought that believes that string-through-body design yields better sustain than a stop tailpiece (but really it is more of an opinion or preference than fact - decide for yourself if you can play each type).

It really depends alot on what type of style your are going to be playing - more specifically, if you see yourself playing more on the rhythm side or lead lines. For lead lines played high on the neck you are going to want the Horizon (because of the easier access to the higher frets). For more straight ahead rhythm, either will probably work just fine - so I think that the "H" might be a little more versatile over all in that respect.
As far as no inlays, I have never played a guitar of that type but I have to say I love that look (you should still be able to use the markers on the top side of the neck / fretboard but still might take some getting used to depending on how well you already know your way around the board).

honestly your choosing 2 completley diff guitars. 25.5 / 24.75 , stringthrew/stoptail , satin/gloss , ebony/rosewood , different woods i believe too

im a les paul , sg type of guy so i would go ec, i dont own any superstrats cuz i just dont like um. You make the call man

Thank's for your answers.
Yeah I know that they are completly different guitars. EC is more of a rythm guitar and H more of a lead guitar. But that "ice6" said about that you could use H500 both as a rythm guitar and a lead guitar sounds good, then I don't need to decide if i want to play lead or rythm.
If you just go for the look I think I like H500 more, that color is hot. But I also really like the shape of the EC , ah it's hard to decide :P
Maybe I should test the both guitars (or similar guitars) on a music store to see witch type of guitar I like the most.

just so you know, the satin finish on the EC will fade.
But I totally dig that EC.

in case ya didnt notice they come with diff. PUPs in the neck too(85 in H, 60 in EC). The fingerboard may be a big difference for ya, bc Ive heard alot of peeps that love ebony over rosewood. Heard that ebony can produce an "icepick" effect, but Im not sure what exactly their talking about. With EMGs, I dont think Ill have to worry.
Im already getting the EC500s and I was told its been discontinued, so dont wait too long.
I like the look of MH-400NT in the same(similar) color better than the H-500, same body style just diff. tail.

I would go for the EC500. I have one (not the 500S) and I love it. The satin finish will start to get glossy where your arm and hands come in contact with it. Dont let anyone tell you its not a lead guitar, access to the higher frets may be a little bit more difficult to get than the H, but it doesnt make that much of a differance. This guitar absolutly shreds. Its light and not to thick, you can wear it for hours with no problem. It would be good to play it before buying, but make sure its the same model with the same pickups and all that stuff.

I just got my EC500s last week. The inlays (or lack of) were a problem for about a day. Every once in awhile Ill be in the wrong spot in the 16th-21st fret range on the higher strings. Part of it could be adjusting to the 24 frets after only playing 22 fret guitars. I never have any problems on any other areas of the board.
There are dots on the top of the neck that are really easy to get used to, imo.

EC is more of a rythm guitar and H more of a lead guitar.

No they're both good for either, don't think in those terms.

I would go for the H-500.

The only way you'll be able to make this decision is by playing them. You shouldn't really take our word for it because they're so different. But I will offer a little insight.

I love the way both guitars look, and I was leaning toward the EC myself until I played it. I spend alot of time playing my Gibson SG, but I also own an Ibanez RG 7-string. I had a very hard time doing sweeps up around the 19th fret on the EC. That might not be an issue for you, but, IMO, the EC would be better for rhythm. I love the 24.75 scale, and I prefer the SG or Viper to the Les Paul shape due to upper fret access.

My next guitar will be an H-1001
