But i am in the market for a new guitar, but i cant decide.
I want a Sv Standard, But i think the only difference between the sv and my jackson is the brand, and the neck, i belive the sv is a neckthrough and the jackson is a bolt on.
Is it really worth to spend another 2000-2500 on a guitar that isnt much different?

I can guarantee, there are BIG differences between your Jackson, and an SV.

for example, the build quality, the wood quality, the far better trem (the one on the KE-3 sucks), ebony instead of rosewood, the fretwork, etc etc... need more? :)

Yep, you wil totally feel and hear the difference.
BTW, my KE3 was almost the same... EMG's also, but mine was eerie dess swirl and I changed the locking nut to a black one (the original broke strings and I bought the black one used)

Quality of SV > Your Jackson
Playability of SV > Your Jackson
Craftsmanship of SV > Your Jackson
Sound/tone of SV > Your Jackson

Do I really need to continue? That Jackson is a nice guitar, don't get me wrong...
