im thinking about buying one
but my last experience with a locking trem was terrible
is the kahler routed through out the body?
i cant find pictures of the jh 200 or a kahler fitted guitar in general

Kahler's just have a small routed pocket in the front that they slip into. No routing on the back.

you dont HAVE to get a kahler. floyds are availible too as far as i know

If you pick up an older JH-200 then certainly. The new ones will be kahler only.

that would be great manid recommend floyd. the kahlers tend to go out of tune more becuase theres more points of friction on the strings or whatever. but they both do the same thing. just in different ways.
the floyd uses knife edges
the kahler uses a ball bearing-type thing

You would be far better off picking up a JH-600 somewhere used that a JH-200. The 200 is a cheap guitar. The 600 is a little more but worth every penny!

Its a crap guitar! Pick up something used then. Trust me on this.
