View Full Version : Fx 400
Wanted to know if anyone has one of these. Was considering buying one but wanted to know how they played. I own two Trucksters and one Gibson Les Paul Custom.
Thanks,
Matt

Don't own one but I play my girlfriends bro's weekly. What can I say, fuckin stunning bang for buck, the neck on his is so easy to play, quite inspiring for playing metal indeed. Very well balanced guitar and comfortable with long term playing. And of coure who could forget the top on that thing, looks bloody ace!
Unless you've got something else in mind, go get this beast.

Feels really solid, sounds badass, looks great and as long as you get a good strap and not play it lower than your waist, its very comfortable too.

i am a proud owner of my fx400, I also play synths while i play guitar, so for me i have to take my hands of the guitar. I bought a leather strap, "DID NOT" move the strap buttons and it balances fine. I am able to take me hand off it freely and not worry about it. Very nice fininsh and plays very nice as well. very good for the buck!

The same guitar without the active emgs, grover tuners and ervana nut. But the 260 has a coil tap for the passive pickups which is interesting. Anyways there is a $200 price difference between the 2. For what you get the FX-400 is a better deal cause dual EMG's alone will cost you about $200, so its like getting the grover tuners and the ervana nut for free.
