Just checked out the 2008 catalog. The ebony bases (B-4E and The F-4E) are a step down from there predecessors. Using the esp tuners pickups and EQs. Now I'm leaning toward the F404FM since they got rid of the tribal inlay.

I need a new bass, I'll wait for the 08's to come out. Even though I'm not crazy about the body shape, the F's are the only ones I care to consider because I play 4 string tuned BEAD, the 35inch scale helps me do that. I wish they'de bring back the B-500. That bass kicks ass!

I'll probably buy most of the F-series this year. even the 100's and 50s series. just change the pickups and yeah. should turn out well.

I still dont know about the Ebony...I'd have to see it in person.

Yes, its a lower string. F#. Yes, there are bands that tune that low.

The new ninjas are my favorite, followed by the rob arnold and the jon donais in no particular order. The ebonies are cool looking though, just not enough quality for the cast IMO.

The Hanneman camo sig looks great! To bad the Stef Carpenter has 8 strings instead of 6 or 7. Still like the Page Hamilton sig.

no one has spoken about the EC-SIN but I think that is one of the hottest EC's I know
