Which Eclipse?

I wanna buy an Std Series eclipse. I just dont know which one to get. I use EMG 85 p/ups in the bridge of all my ESPs so im thinkin the Eclipse 2 might sound too muddy with the rosewood fingerboard. But the Eclipse CTM with ebony fingerboard might balance things out abit better. It seems to work in my Std Series Viper, but theres the maple top of the Eclipse to think about too. Any help please?

lol u think rosewood would make it muddy lol , i switch between a rosewood and ebony viper with 81's and can tell no difference what so ever

the difference is rather small due to the emgs having a large output, its more about body woods you should consider. Still, in the end choose the guitar with a more comfortable fretboard.
