you can buy specific stuff (big bends nut sauce etc) but bit of vaseline/petroleum jelly will do just as good a job

i guess the only wayto complete the bad pun is by adding that Nut Sauce is the best nut lube.

I've never actually lubed the nut on my guitars i think i should do that the next time i change my strings...I'm also surprised no one mentioned KY:rollin

Ahh yes, the graph tech nut releases millions of microscopic spheres of lubrication, having the affect of marbles on a hardwood floor, gliding the string smoothly through the slots.

'cause if you don't have a locking nut, when you're tuning or using your trem, the string is pulled through the nut slots. It can get caught up, making tuning more difficult, or preventing a correct return to pitch
