I have a ESP KH2 bolt on. I was curious what the fingerboard radius was. It feels very similar to my Jackson that I used to have. I think the pre Fender Jacksons had a 16 in. radius but not sure.

Typically superstrats have very flat fretboards (= larger inch numbers); it works well with Floyds and a low action - which is good for shredding and tapping and all sorts of that.
However chording and playing on the lower frets is often more comfortable on a bit more "round" fretboards".

I think ESP use either 10 or 12 inch radius for their japanese floyd models the hammett could be flatter but I dont know...
Shane would be the best source for that....
I remember reading something on the esp japan site about radius and I think they said they use 240 for locking trem guitars....

Jackson uses a compound radius neck that goes from 12 to 16.
Ibanez uses a flat 16
ESP normally uses a 12 or 14, but I haven't played a new esp for quite some time
Gibson is a 10 or 12 depending on the year
Fender is normally a 12.
Hope that helps.

Vintage Fenders also came with 9.5" radius, now that's round...
A lot of companies vary their neck radiuses as years pass...
