EMGHZ question

For the EMGHZ (here is a link http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/EMG-40HZ-Passive-5-String-Bass?sku=308023) would I need to carve anything out to fit this into my LTD F-255FM?

Any help would be great.

nope, probably not... EMG 40-HZ's and ESP SB-5's are extremely similar in size

would two EMGHZ's of the same kind work on the same bass? as in will they work well? ive never changed pickups on a guitar, so I'm trying to figure out what works best.

yes, they would... my bass comes with two EMG 40-HZ's and they work just fine, together and each on their own
