i can only imagine how time consuming that paintjob would be,,it would be nice to try and copy out the deaths head inlays (on a seperate new fretboard) replace the old dot board and repaint the thing black, maybe in a year, i have to many other projects right now

Kahlers are alot smoother in that it doesn't seem to matter how much pressure you put on it, it feels the same. You hear the pitch altering, but don't feel it like you can with a floyd if you know what I mean? You feel a floyd sorta fighting against, so you know how much force to put into a dive to know how much of a pitch difference you'll get.

That's my experience anyway. Best to play a kahler equipped guitar and you'll see what I mean.

theres a video on youtube that shows you an awesome comparison

yeah by dmometalguitar. but if you notice he biases his tests toward the floyd like he bends more than anyone normally would when playing as to make it go out of tune. and a load of other things but I just dig floyds more anyway.
