KV2 is SWEETTT!

Yes the King V is tight. There is nothing quite like it. Fat strings, Duncans, and the Hughes and Kettner Switchblade amp makes it wail.

Overall the Gus G is nice. Fat tone, neck thru, it takes time getting used to the thing being so neck heavy and dropping towards the ground. You have to be posted up on a monitor or something with one leg. It's not like the King V where it's balanced perfect or even a Rhodes for that matter. Still like the guitar alot though.

I have the Kevin Bond also. I love the pickup in it, it's very different sounding to anything else I've tried I think...

I've just been playing a couple of them in my guitar shop, sadly one wasn't set up properly so i couldn't tell whcih was my favourite.

I've just been playing a couple of them in my guitar shop, sadly one wasn't set up properly so i couldn't tell whcih was my favourite.


They're not the best to sit with really but the 'classical posture' is the best I find. When standing with this guitar I find it really well balanced. I used to hate playing Vs even standing up but this seems to sit right.

Most Jackson balance well that I have played. At least the King V and Rhodes models.
