Quick question about guitar/bass woods

So I recently came across in the custom shop section of the esp site a bass titled Lalo and I can't figure out what type of wood was used for the body...any body have any clue and can help me out?

The body (back) looks like ash. The top is what looks like a walnut burl, or atleast some sort of burl. Thats basically a wood tumor.

looks like burl koa... check out the stright wood grains... looks very much like koa

I was watching that show "Intervention" on A&E, and saw some tweeker who collected burl, thinking he was going to cash in major. He'd smoke up his shit with his buddy and then romp around in the forest for hours trying to find the ultimate burl. It would have been funny, except for the whole suffering family thing...

So, that's my story about burl.
