It's one of the export models. If you live in American it could be hard to find one but just order one from any local guitar shop if you live in Europe or Japan...

Not really, Dealers aren't allowed to ship ESP's or Ltd's overseas.

They sell Eclipse's here in Canada right beside licensed gibson dealers. No sueing. Gibson did all the sueing in the early 80's/late 70's and lost.

What about Japan? There has to be some way to order a purple Eclipse and have it shipped here, there HAS to be...

Well, why can't they make purple Eclipse IIs for the US? That's regional market BS right there. Hell, I can live without a second tone knob, but I want me a purple Eclipse, dammit.

Sure there is. One you either need to find a dealer in Japan that is willing to ship to the US.... which good luck with that one. They are out there you just need to find them, as they don't exactly advertise it. You could go the custom route but only 3 knobs and new horn style not like the one you pictured. Or you could hold out and get an Edwards from ebay. The purple ones pop up a couple of times per year. Any way you look at it you are paying big bucks though especially if you want the real deal ESP.

Thats a reasonable price for Europe, It's £1,100 for an eclipse in the UK and at the current exchange rate thats about $2000.
