Cut out HELP PLZ

I have an ltd bass,please don't ask me what model it is cuz I don't know. It seems to be cutting in and out. Sometimes not so bad, sometimes not so good. When I wiggle my cable it pops and crackles and makes some really bad noises. I have a fresh battery in it for the pickups. What could it be? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sounds like the jack needs to be resoldered or replaced.Easy fix if you can solder.New jacks are cheap too.

Have you tried it with other leads?

try another cable first. (might be the cable jack)

if the cable isn't the problem, it's probably the output jack. (the one on the bass)

either of them are easy to replace/resolder.
