This is kinda weird but...I really like UnderOATH and their sound. I watched one of their old vids and I saw on of their set ups in the background. I spotted a 5150 and a Marshall cab but idk the specifics. If you could watch the vid and try to catch a glimpse of their set up and post them on here I'd be very appreciative.

Well, I dont know theses guys names, so they are Cat 1 and Cat 2

Cat 1 seems to be rocking a 5150II through a Marshall Cab (unknown model, most likely 1960)

Cat 2 is sporting a 5150 through what seems to be a 5150 cab.

took me like 20 minutes to do that, so I hope I helped. If not, I had nothing else better to do.

Thanks for the help. Any idea what LTD he's playing? The one with the red guitar so I guess Cat 1 to you?

James:

I play a fender telecaster into a orange ad140 twin channel amp head through a orange 4x12 cabinet. I use monster cables and a boss pedal tuner.

Tim:

Gibson SG standard and a Les Paul Classic with a Orange 4x12 and 2x12 (sometimes), with a Marshall Plexi and JCM 800 Head. I play some Electro Harmonix pedals and a Line 6 DL4

I saw a Rockerverb 50 on stage when I saw them at warped tour this year

I guess that gear was just a prop for the music video shoot then :\

Or it's a really old video and they've updated their gear since then.

Didn't they record with Adam D? If they did, they more than likely used Adam D's (Joel's) Mesa Recto cab.

"When The Sun Sleeps" is on their 2nd album The Changing of Times (2002).

Adam D produced on the Define The Great Line album (2006).

Deadpulse posted their equipment that they use now. Still helpful though.

I don't like their sound as much on their newest album.

On their twitter acc they've posted some pics of them during setups and whatever, and it seems to be mostly Orange cabs, Orange AD's and Plexis.

I am also pretty sure I saw some pics of a JCM 800 in the studio on their old homepage from when they were recording They're Only Chasing Safety.
