Hi im thinking to buy one of them.Which one do you recommend.What are the main differences.I have Eclipse Ltd 1000 deluxe, gonna be a big difference from Ltd?

There's a HUGE difference in quality and overall feel of the guitars(Eclipse and EC1000), and its good. The eclipse just shines in every aspect compared to the ltd I think. they've looked into, and perfected all the small details that you might not even notice on the ESP that just makes it a better guitar IMO. About the CTM/II thing, personal preference, I'd go with the CTM if I could, just looks sweeter :)

CTM=4 knobs

Iv got a eclipse II and I personally prefer the more modern look, I like having 1tone also :hat

No i guess thatīs not right, 3-knobs are only those us-version models.

For normal versions:

Eclipse I : All Eclipse with Ebony Fretboards and normal Finish
Eclipse II: All Eclipse with quilted/flamed Maple and Rosewood Fretboard.

I like the shape of the Eclipse II a lot more, plus I don't use anything besides the volume knob so I don't understand why everyones crazy about having 4 knobs. I guess I'm just not one of those tone/volume knobs tweakers..

The eclipse 1 is more like LP and they got sued and now its not allowed in US. and the shape isnt the same.
