Can anyone rate this guitar for me? Preferably (spelling?) people that own the guitar themselves, or have tried it intesively.
How does it sound clean, and overdriven? How's the fretboard, the weight, neck etc etc?
I'm thinking of getting one, which is why I ask

I had a chance to play both the LTD and the ESP.
I bought the LTD.
I believe some ESP models are 10 times better than the LTD version but not in this case. I have 5 ESP's and 2 LTD's
The LTD Ninja is a great playing V. It has the Gibson 24-3/4 scale neck.
But has better tone then my Gibson V. Looks better too.
The Duncans kick if you're into metal.
I would have them split to give you more range.
Negatives: The mirrored pick guard gets jacked up quick.
(but that's probably my playing style)
If you are looking for a 25.5 scale V, like a Jackson
I would try to find a Mustaine ESP.
Now that guitar is Metal......
I put a Sceamin Demon in mine with that ebony fret board...SICK ! ! !
The neck is not as thick as the Ninja.
Just my humble opinion..... check it out for yourself
Hope this helps.

I liked my LTD alot and also swapped the pups with an 81/60 combo. I agree with Machine Gun. The Ninja is a more classic feeling guitar much like a Gibson, if that makes any sense.
