Flight Case for Horizon

So, I'm flying overseas for a year and I want to take my Custom Shop Horizon with me. Nothing is special about the shape besides it has the old Horizon headstock (got it in 2001), but I can't find a good aluminium flight case for it. Everything is strat or les paul, which is close, but the strats usually have fatter horns than the horizon does and I want it to fit nice and tight. I would cry like a little baby if something happened to it, even though it's insured.

Any reccommendations on flight cases?

your going to have to go to somewhere like a&s case, etc to get a custom flight case made. Its going to be big, heavy and expensive but worth it to protect your guitar.

oh shit my bad.....posted the wrong one but u should go with gators flight cases...very pricey but worth it

A&S appears to be the best around. I never thought I'd pay $500+ for a freaking case, but the guitar will be checked luggage in airplanes for 3 days and flown 1/2 way across the world (madagascar).

$500 is a small price to pay to protect gear that can cost big $$$$.

As soon as I get a digital cam, I'll post 'em in the custom thread. I have some on my phone, but they suck ass. If you're looking for proof, I can post those, but the lighting is bad and well.. it's 1.2 megapixel cam.

Basically, it's a horizon, flamed maple top, aquaburst to black. Painted neck (all the shredders just threw up), matching headstock. EMG 81/60.

if your like me, theres nothing that can replace it, i think 500 is a small price to ensure its ok. I mean we pay 2K+ for guitars and put em in cases that cost 100bucks or less. :\ JMO

im just bitter i cant get a esp japan case for my kh.:mad::lol
