Just a little confusion over the KH-1 NeckThru
I just bought myself the MV-290 from Japan. From what my understand is that KH-1 is for the rest of the world market while MV-290 is only for Japanese market. Everything is identical like KH-1, but MV-290 is neck thru and has no KH signature on the headstock.

And here is Truckster's one

Anyway, I saw the pics of JackDaniel's KH-1 NT and it has KH Signature on the headstock while the one that I just bought and Truckster's one dont have one.
So is it possible that MV-290 is just standard production line that release in Japan but without KH Signature ... just like
M-III ---- KH-3
M-II------KH-2
MV-290---KH-1 NT ?
Here is what MAE guitar say on its' website
Kirk Hammett MV-290 (KH-1)
If you were into Metallica from the beginning then you know Kirk was a Gibson Flying V user so it should be no surprise his first signature model is for a Flying V. This guitar may look like the regular KH-1 but this is the Japan market neck-through KH-1. Costs twice as much as the bolt-on version. Single EMG pickup, Floyd Rose tremolo, Dancing Devil inlays! Came with ESP form fitting hardcase and adjustment tools. In VG+ condition.
So, does anyone know about this or have any info, history, catalog?
Thxs
PS.. Japan Yahoo Auction is not fun place like eBay... it keeps postpone another 5 minutes when anyone place the bid.... kinda ruin the price, but I still got it for very good price.
