View Full Version : hard time
Hey guys...I'm having a real hard time selling one of my eclipses. I think its because I have only 2 feedbacks on ebay, I never use the site. I have also tried posting it here on the spam thread and got no responses. What else would you recommend? The guitar is brand new, literally, and I'm not looking for a ridiculous price...anything around 1000.
Oh and on craigs list, I only get scammers that respond. When I brought it to Sam Ash for a trade, they told me 700 max. I just want to order a custom eclipse and I can't haha
Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try Harmony Central -there's a metal crowd thare and that's where I sold mine (for about 1000) so I could get a Custom Eclipse...
Well first off, don't bother asking any shops to buy it. Did you post it in the spam section here? I mean anything around $1000 is a decent price for an Eclipse.

Did you post plenty of pics? You have a small post count but if you put a good description and plenty of pictures I think it will sell. Keep it on craigslist as well, someone will eventually snag it. That is a great price and I am sure it won't take you too long to sell it.
thanks guys...yea i dont post to much and im pretty new to the board, but i read a lot of posts. I'm going to give harmony central a try. I think I'm going to put it down to 950 too, hopefully it will be more enticing at that price. I have to take some more pics too. Thanks for all the advice

What kind of Eclipse is it? Not sure if you remember but last year Musicians Friends were blowing out all the Honey Burst models and guys here were getting them for under $800. So that might factor into you lack of sales as well. Now if you have the black Eclipse with EMGs (or one of the other ones)then $1000 is a great price.
Its actually the see through black cherry with emgs...there weren't any specials on this guitar like the vhb and the vw...great quilt on this one, i was hesitant to sell it at first, but i really would like a custom haha the quilt on this one is better than on my acsb which is also really nice

That's a killer guitar. If you are patient I don't see why you couldn't get $1,000 for it.
it really is...its easily worth more, it plays great and sounds even better. but at this point, I would sell it for anything above 900, i just want to put in my custom order haha

Don't give too many informationz. :p
Good luck with the sale.
it finally sold, I can't wait for the guy to get the guitar and see how awesome it is...he's going to be pretty happy. now, i don't know if i should get an eclipse ft, an mx 250II, or just custom order something hah

Congrats dude, where did you end up selling it? Here or Harmony-Central?
on ebay, the buyer who won the bid actually came through and solved whatever problems he was having. I'm actually thinking of ordering a horizon but no store near me has one that I can play first. ha

Cool, glad you got it sold. I have purchased guitars without playing them first. Just do a lot of research and you won't be disappointed.
