ive played an RR5 and found it to be awful for the price, just like any jackson thats not a USA. i have a fender with a faster neck, my friend has a PRS with a faster neck, the shape of the RR5 looks cool but its a pain when sitting and you constantly bump the corners. actually my local shop has a RR5 and a KH-202 from (lesser model) on the used rack and i thought the KH-202 felt better. the RR5 sounded better but im sure it was the pickups. overall i was very disappointed with the RR5.

Its personal preference. I've played a Jackson RR5 and an RR1, the latter is ultimately better. RR5 is alright though the shape is limiting.

I've owned the rr5. So, what I think you should consider is if you'd rather have a FLoyd rose thand a fixed bridge and 24 frets over 22 frets.. and that's the major difference. The rr5 imo sounds awesome and plays awesome..

kh-602 to rr5, hmmmmmmmmm, you might as well be comparing a kh-jr to an ibanez acoustic. In all honesty though there is no substitution for playing them in person. Getting used to a v shape is a major hurdle for some people and for others (like myself) it's actually more comfortable.
