Noob Emg Question.

I am putting EMG's in my EXP, but I have never had a guitar with EMG's in it before, my question is the 2 screws and springs that come with the pick ups. Does the spring go in between the pick up and the pick up ring, like the old seymour duncans or does it go under neath the pick up and go against the body??. Could someone post some pics maybe of the underside of the pick up for me?? It is 2 81's i am putting in.

you know.. EMG's are just guitar pickups running on batteries.. ;)

yeah i know dude, but when I stripped my EXP i didn't really too much attention to how it was put together.

Heh, I've stripped down a couple of my guitars and forgot which pots were the volume and tone. Those damn springs piss me off the most because I always have trouble keeping the spring compressed and not having it pop out.

You should try a 85 bridge, I replaced the 81 in my MX-II and love it.
