Double checking the SW Eclipse II

The SW Eclipse II is all mahogany right? It's not just a typo on the site? I've been playing with the idea of picking up another Eclipse for a while now but didn't like my old VTB due to the lack of a maple top. I just sold a bunch of gear and will probably order in a day or two.

I was under the impression that all the Eclipses have maple tops. My SW full thickness Eclipse I-ctm definitely sounds like it does.

Checking my 2007 catalogue confirms that they all have maple tops. I can't believe ESP would've changed something so fundamental to the LP design in 2008, either. I think they just don't mention it for the solid-colour models on the ESP site because it's not visible.

For some reason the 2008 specs make no mention of a maple top for the SW or the VTB

I think that may be a mistake, I doubt they would change the way they make them, plus on the Japan site it still says the USA Eclipse II has a maple top
