In theory it should be a 02 model, but I've seen the serials not be accurate here and there. Usually 3xx series go between 300-400, so you payed a little higher for it, but I wouldn't sweat it, because you just picked yourself up one beautful kickass guitar!

Crap really? and damn that was fast...a bunch of reviews on harmony central say price paid 349 USD, i cant believe that, this guitar feels like a 600 dollar guitar lol...whatever, its a beautiful and nice playing guitar and its rare I think? So i guess it was a good buy. Oh yeah, will an OFR (orig. floyd rose) fit in this trem routing?

now can anyone tell me if the esp m/mh hardcase is good or if i should look for a 3rd party superstrat case? and whats it look like on the inside? The case it's in is an old Ibanez case they had, the only case in the store to fit its massive reverse headstock :P Hell he offered the case free so i said why not.
This is my Ibanez case I want something like this the fit my new (to me) LTD. Is the ESP case this nice? or does anyone know any cases that are nice to fit an M

Congrats.. m-203 is a great guitar. I have one myself and prefer it almost everything i have tried before. Mines black see through upgraded with an OFR, dimarzio evolutions, chrome hardware, and lights under the pickups. Sweet axe. I actually got mine for $350 (minus the upgrades) about 3/4 years ago.

hah thats sick how do those lights work, did you install them yourself? and is the OFR a clean swapout?

yeah the OFR was a clean fit, no adjustments neccessary. And yeah i installed the lights myself. They're connected to a battery and when i pull up on my volume knob, they turn on.

where did you buy the OFR? I might buy one from warmoth...maybe i should put some gold hardware on this guitar, which tuning posts did you put on it for the chrome? i don't want to have to drill any holes or something

All floyd equiped Ltd guitars are fitted for original Floyd style floyd's. ESP put Lo-Pro Licensed Floyds in all their older guitars though. The 07's have the standard FR, still licensed, but I prefer it over the Lo-Pro's. Company's started using Lo-Pro's because people were changing the tuning and stuff on their guitars from hitting the fine tuners, I don't find them in the way that bad though. I hate the fine tuner pieces attached to the saddles on Lo-Pro trems though.

i bought my OFR from ed roman, only because it was the cheapest i could find it ($150). Otherwise you could try warmoth or guitarpartsdepot.com. The tuners are gotoh, and theyre just normal diecast tuners. I figured i didnt need any special tuner since theres a locking nut. And yeah gold hardware would look pretty sick on that natural finish... you should check out these pics i found of a natural m302, except the guy sanded off the clear coat and got rid of the veneer. Its sick.
