A friend gave me a copy of photoshop 6 and I started an attempt at a couple of mockups..
First one is from 08 catalog? I added EMG's a Floyd and some star inlays.

2 pretty similar guitars please:-

1. Just leave all specs the same as a standard SV but make the finish 'blood camo' (black, white, grey and a deep red in a camoflage pattern). Matching headstock too.

2. Jackson RR24 with a neck pickup too and the same blood camo finish. Matching headstock too.

i've got this idea for a custom..and just want to see how it would look. an F-series with a locking floyd rose and emgs. 81 and 60. but you know how the travis miguel sig has the flat top? i thought it would be cool to have this be a flat top. i'd like to see it in two versions: snow white with black binding on hte body, black pickguard, and black hardware, ebony fingerboard. then: painted jet black, with white pickguard, white binding on the body, and gold hardware. and then have the points not be rounded off...just like flat. to give the guitar a pointier look...and the pickguards should have corresponding points...with the body

He used many in his career. He obviously held the Stealth as his most prized axe. He had 3: The Black one you always see him with; an emerald green one; and a striped down natural finish one. All alder bodies with one X2N. He was also a fond advocate of the Mockingbird, in which he had a Black, and see thru green/quilt top. As with the Stealths, these utilized the X2N. He did not play a guitar similar to the one in the link you posted, as he used only B.C. Rich. I just really like that guitar in the link, hence my second happy seizure, after the Stealth Tribute.

Sorry for the Schuldiner guitar lesson, but I take pride in being a Jeff Loomis/Chuck Schuldiner fanboy.:D

An extemely high output pickup made by Dimarzio. Its a fucking beast, and destroys an 81 in terms of output, tone, and raw, heavy tone.

If your looking for clean, clear and articulate, go with a dual 81 combo. Look at the Seymour Duncan JB as well. If you want raw, heavy, crushing, punishing metal tones, see what the X2N will do for you. Do you live near a good Guitar shop?

Go to one of them and round up a bunch of guitars with differnent pickups, try them out. Access and anaylize the sound you get from each one, and decide the one you like best.

What other guitars do you have? It might be more worth it to try it on another one. I'm not trying to say the F-50 is low quality be any means, but I might be better to try them in another guitar.

Which amp do you have? Maybe I can help in solving this little dimlema. If your amp is ass, then go with a better amp. If you think the guitar is ass, you might want to get a better guitar.

Do the pickups first. After that, scout the local shops for used amps, try, then buy.

I had a Marshall cab, but sold it buy something else, and now I have a Behringer, which also is not too bad. It could be better, but givin the price, its not too shabby. I've got an MXR 10 band EQ, and an old Boss chorus pedal. I don't ever use the MXR anymore so I gonna sell that. Guitars are the V500, I assume you know the specs on that. Guitar number two would be an old neck-thru Warlock. Mahogony body, EMG 81, fixed bridge etc... I really love that guitar. I have various entry level instruments as I never have had a-lot of money, so my first 3 or so guitars were all cheaper models. For what reason are you curious?

They're coming dude. I know my set up isn't great, and it pales in comparison to a-lot of the rigs here. I have spent many an hour in countless music shops trying out all the gear I can, but the money has never been there to buy anything great. 08 is going to be a great year because i'll finally be able to get the job I want, you have to be 18 to work there. Once I get some better gear, there will be plenty of pics, and hopefully i'll be able to post some clips as well:)

i've got this idea for a custom..and just want to see how it would look. an F-series with a locking floyd rose and emgs. 81 and 60. but you know how the travis miguel sig has the flat top? i thought it would be cool to have this be a flat top. i'd like to see it in two versions: snow white with black binding on hte body, black pickguard, and black hardware, ebony fingerboard. then: painted jet black, with white pickguard, white binding on the body, and gold hardware. and then have the points not be rounded off...just like flat. to give the guitar a pointier look...and the pickguards should have corresponding points...with the body

They make a flat top forest in japan.. its really nice. I forget what it's called.

The inlays dont fit with your graphic. Somthing that woulb be nice is to paint add your graphics on your pickups. the rest of the guitars that is still black including the headstock you should add a color that will fit to your graphic. Id say put the same blue or the silver as you graphic. Try to paint your hardware too that'll be a kickass. Nice axe btw :p

i was thinking about putting custom hardware. the graphics will actually be painted on the pickup but it is not this graphic. we'll decide of this later but we will make it for sure ;). painting the headstock too. on the back of the neck there will be a skull spine and on the back of the guitars it will be like half a rib cage with one scapula. we are thinking about a mix of rocky tribal and skull graphic.
