They don't!

I live in America, where can I order a full thickness eclipse and how much will it cost?

The full thickness Eclipses are for the export market only. So if you want one in the North American market, you gotta go custom.....and it will cost twice what a SS goes for.

No you don't. You just need a head on your shoulders to figure out how to get one.

Fair enough, but you won't be able to order one locally, is what I was getting at.

Well if you take the binding out of the comparison they look very similar though not identical. LP Custom is double bound making it wider than a normal Les Paul which is the Standard. Lol sorry but thats a particularly misleading comparison pic I realize it was unintentional.

I got these 2 coming this week. Review and vids to come. They look the same thickness as a LP custom. I was playing a LPC tonight at GC before they close and it was the same thickness as my JH-3 and the FT's I think are the same thickness as the LPC's

I wish to, but I doubt it. If they do it may be have a thicker body, but the same ghey 3 knobs and smaller horn. I doubt they would even allo the double binding. Fucking Gibson

the double binding makes it look about 100 times classier.
and even if they don't bring them to the states, someone will probably have a chance to buy one of yours pretty quick. you planning on keeping both?

Don't talk about things you don't know about. Around this forum, that could be a very bad mistake.

1 white left mate. One Sydney cat bought both black and white but it seems from reading the boards here they were purchased on behalf of one sean106cd and are winging their way out of the country :lol Blake's black and the one white remains.

Lol yeah... The pic with the Standard really does make it stand out, I definitely should have thought before I posted that other comment... Oops. I wonder if this "thinning" was a cost cutting move, a weight reduction move, other, or all of the above.

Heres my Eclipse-I CTM Full Thickness in Vintage Black. This guitar is fucking awesome, it is as heavy as the Gibson LPC that I used to have and the sound would beat the ESP Truckster that I used to have too. Really nice clean tone and a fucking mad distortion. Nothing can beat it. I run it into a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and a Marshall 1960A Cabinet with a Boss Super Chorus and Dunlop Crybaby Fasel Wah.

Are you sure it is as heavy as a LPC. Because I have a JH-3 and a Historic Colection Black Beauty LPC and the JH-3 feels paper light in comparision.

DA from the USA board and I weighed myself and then weighed myself with the guitar and minus the difference, and mine clocked in at around 9 LB's

I do disagree with it blowing away the truckster. Although I like the thicker body and love both guitars (I will copy below my comparison of thickness with a Gibby and the JH-3) The rose wood and maple neck (ithink the truckster has a maple neck) the truckster did have a little bit of brighter snappier clean tone. Distortion wise the FT is a monster. Just thick and beefy. I have 2 custom Explorers being built with Maple necks, rose wood fretbaords, sperzels and the EMG 60/81 combo so curious to see how they sound compare to the MX250's I used to own and MX 220's

here was my post of the snow white one with pic comparisons, since everyone wanted a comparison. The FT is thicker than the JH-3 and the same as the LP classic custom. Dunno about the LPC but I think the JH-3 is the same as the LPC so the FT maybe a tad thicker. Either way I love both. ESP finally made what I was asking for years ago when I EMG'd and blacked out a wine red LPC.

post:

Ok so Snow White got here. She is a beaut! Weird how it is heavier than the black one and seems to have a bit more chug in it. Not sure if it is because of the thicker strings and D standard tuning, but it just feels heavier like the JH-3 and also sounds meatier :) (What ever that means) Anyhoo, I made some gear smut to see the differences. The JH-3 for sure has a slightly smaller body width and a thinner neck than the FT's The FT's neck and body are the Size of the LP classic custom, but I dont know if they are larger or the same as a LPC. Enjoy the smut:

well, I personally prefer the ebony fretboard cause its smoother and i think that both clean and distortion sound better than the truckster but thats my opinion though. Would love to get another truckster cause the look of it is just 10/10 but need to raise some cash first.
