looks like the real deal to me, only other option would be that it's got the graphics from a decal and the rest just like a custom moon and star KH...
what's the serial?

So that should do the trick :) serial is correct so you probably have a genuine there

Looks real to me, and I have close to 300 pics of the Ouija's and the Serial #'s I have seen are K-22XXX. So, I say that's it real.

Must have been a really early one, or when they were still a custom order option.

is it just me or is that a really bad decal for the headstock?

Well now I'm confused. I just bought a used KH-2 that I was told was custom ordered with the moon and star inlays. The previous owner had Daneen from customairbrush.com paint the Ouija graphics on it (they're bigger than "original" but to be honest, I like that it fills more of the open space).

Anyway, the back of the headstock has a K serial number in the range of the original Ouija releases (so I understand). The neck-joint, and the guitar hang tag have a serial number in the 25,000 range.

Has anyone heard anything about the non-Ouija KH-2s with moon and star inlays? The guy (Metalupass2) was cool, and I don't think he did anything to screw me around, I know he bought it from someone else, so something might have happened before he got it.

Also, I could be wrong, and Pushead that is defiantly air brushed. The lettering is way too big.

Right. I said that, and the seller said that. I'm not debating that.

I thought so, but I don't have another one to compare it with, I would have figured that the headstock serial number would match the one on the hang tag and the neck plate. I have an M-II deluxe (the predecessor to the KH-2), but it only has a serial number on the neck plate. Here is the hang tag:

Realistically, it doesn't matter to me. I like how it looks, I love how it plays, and that's all that counts. As I said, I like the bigger graphics. I'm just wondering if there is an Ouija body floating around without a neck, or if maybe ESP had one returned at one point, and my custom inherited that neck. I guess it's possible they had a bunch of necks made for Ouija's and just never got a chance to use them.
