I've never heard of that guy or his music, but I have a strong suspicion that he sounds a hell of a lot like Yngwie.

No, this guy has feel. And doesn't base everything he writes off of arpeggios.

You might want to check out a little band called Alcatrazz as well as the first Rising Force album. K, thnx.

EDIT: The dude obviously has been influenced by Yngwie on some level, but his music sounds quite different from Yngwie's. I'll have to check out more of this dude's stuff. Very cool!
