Dude, you should know better than to ask "opinion" questions here. You're gonna hear both sides of the spectrum. Go try one and decide what YOU think about the macbooks.

I concur with SA. MB Pro's run like giant fuckin porno tits. Very nice hardware. However, I prefer them when they run MS OS' :).

MacBook's are sweet! Some of my friends have them. One day I want one too, but I'm satisfied with my two year old iBook G4 for now. You should buy, or hmhmh... download iWork too, I did and it's fantastic!

I've got a macbook but the school of business requires Dells now, so I've got one of those too now. My next computer will definitely be a mac, but I'm going to sell mine now though, you wanna buy used? She's got the 3 year warranty and parallels, I got it in January.

I fucking hate that they only have 1 mouse button.

It's just to click with the control button pressed down...

I have mine set up so you just put two fingers on the touch pad and click... much easier then bending your thumb alllll the way back to hit that right click on a pc

Uhm...you do realize you can use whatever mouse you want right? I use a mouse with 11 buttons for christs sake. Right click works the same as it does on any pc machine.
Anyways you wont be dissapointed do. Try it, if you like it, buy it. It might be awkward for like 10 minutes until you do a couple things with it then it will be your new home and youll never move again.

Open up your internet connection preferences, see what sort of ip address it has. If it has nothing, make sure its on automatic, and make sure your router is sending a DHCP signal out.
If it has something but isnt connecting, set it to manual, leave it 0's, apply that. Then set it to Automatic, and let it pick up an address. See if that works.
Also, try resetting both the router and the modem, I think you turn the modem on first, could be wrong just try it both ways.
