So I walked into a local musicstore today, and I saw a satin black ESP Eclipse hanging. It was the same price as the other standard Eclipses (1 CTM) But it had an original Floyd Rose? For the same price? What is this? It said nothing about Limited or special edition :|

Its a Standard model in europe now for sure, not sure about the USA but i recon most dealers can probably special order it.

yeah, it's a standard model for Europe and maybe Australia but I'm not sure. I tried it, it's killer!

Nah. It was the satin black with gold/cream white bindings, the "usual" one, but with FR.

Its the new one you saw i think, new for 2008, along with the bigsby eclipse etc. Both are Satin black finishes.
