There is no just roughly price for a custom shape! Shit, I've seen people pay 6 grand for a custom that was a dv8 with their custom specs.

See that's where you're wrong - I could afford it, but I know I'd have to save for a few months to pull the cash together. I'm not the O.P but it's things like that that annoy me - the automatic assumption that because someone's asking the price in advance they must be too broke ass poor to afford something.

where did I say that is what i assumed?? All i was getting at is that it is friggin expensive that's all. You can afford it, good for you. Instead of asking here, submit a qoute and get the real price???

Its all gonna depend on what you want done, but general rule, the more radical, the more expensive. Only thing I could tell you is a 5A figured top, like quilted or flame maple, will add $2000-$3000 to the price, so a custom body shape will more then likely be alot more then that.
