They all have their purposes, and people have their preferences...
But I prefer the OFRs, Schaller LFRs, Wilkinson, and PRS trems...

Best ive ever played would probably a PRS bridge, but i love my Vintage Strat trem on my Highway 1 tho.
I am thinking about getting a PH-600 again so i can get a Ebony 'board and NTB construction as well as another trem guitar, so id say the Wilkinson trems will probably be some of the best out there as well.

Original Floyd or the Synclair bridges that ESP was putting out in the 80's/early 90's.

I like the OFR on my MII, but I have to give it to the original (non-lopro) Edge from Ibanez. I love that thing.

I like Wilkinsons. Only trem I like, really
They haven't the tuning stability of a locking trem, nor the range, but they're much easier to re-string and (just my opinion and a silly one, of course) don't look like a you've got a jet engine attached to the body of your guitar. :p
I still like tune-o's better, tho.

OFR, definitely.
I'll be trying out the Parker trem soon, I've heard its fantastic.

^gotchs are better than the ofr's, tone and construction;)
:p
but im serious, gotch /thread
parker's make a great trem guitar, wilkensons are alright, hipshots are killer, suhr's bridges he's using, i have had good luck with the fender 6 screw's i've used, etc.

I love the feel of a Kahler, but they're not the most stable for tuning. Right now, Ibanez original ZR trem is my favorite, but like all good Ibanez trems, they release a more watered-down version of it every year |I
Oh, and I have to say that the Bigsby trem that is used on the Bran Setzer model Gretch has a damn nice tone to it.

I have an old Ibanez USA Custom with an Edge (not sure if it's just an edge or lo pro edge or whatever). Anyway, it's the best trem I've ever used.

My favourite ones have been the Gotoh FR angled back fine tuners great construction and feel...
Then the Schaller FR and OFR, Some of the Lo Pro EDGE's I have tried have been nice but I always feel they were a bit weak and not as solid as the Gotoh and Schaller FR's...
Every OFR I have tried hasent been that great and has felt quite mechanical and unatural to me....
The Gotoh and Schaller FR's are much nicer..
Chevy I presume you mean Gotoh not gotch.
Gotoh also manufacturer wilkinsons trems, and some of Ibanez's hardware EDGE Lo Pro EDGE Pro presumably the EDGE Zero AFAIK....

The one i dumped in my ltd m202 was very nice as stable as an OFR imo but with the feel of a smoother trem like an Edge.
In my experience it has the right blend of solidyty like the ofr but modern aspects like its smooth feel and trem arm holder and angled back tuners too...

i'm partial to the floyds, original or licensed. got a Schaller licensed in my Lotus, ofr licensed in my Squier Strat, ESP Khaler licensed in my M-II. for heavy strings, like 12-56(i have .65 bass' d for the low e), i like the tune-o-matic/stoptails, my LTD EX-50 and Epiphone '58 explorer have them. my least favorite would be the strat bridges, easy to intonate, but a pain to get the right radius.

btw- ORIGINAL STEINBERGER BRIDGES OWN ALL.
For real.. you can lock them,, you can bend FULL CHORDS & IT STAYS IN TUNE. You can lock them in different tunings without doing anything other than setting your trem arm to a certain spot..
They are astonishing...
A true steinberger shall be my next axe.

A person who is anal about locking the trem in place can easily get tools for that...
Those Steinberger bridges, assuming they are the ones that uses strings with ball ends at both ends, are a pain to buy strings for, and they are hard to find hardware replacements...
