They weren't selling a ton of them so they discontinued them... now look at the market. They retailed for $699 new and people are getting well over that for them in the used market. I had one and regretfully sold it... killer playing/sounding/looking guitar.
Keep your eyes peeled on ebay, they pop up from time to time.

Thankfully, it was discontinued. I picked one up in 2002 when MF blew them out for $399, but sold it. They are not like the current LTDs that have the same specs as the ESPs, just built in Korea. The LTD Kami had an alder body, Duncan designed pups, and Floyd-licensed trem. Nothing like a real kamikaze, just gives you the look. When they made the Tiger in LTD form in 2004, it was a little more expensive (100-200 bucks, can't remember exactly), but you got a maple body, real Duncan, and OFR - like it should be! I'm sorry, but $550+ is way too much for these. The $399 I paid is about right.

There is one at a guitar center near me. I wasn't too crazy about it.
