VERY Victory Records ish, I dont dig the way the words are angled either. I think it would look better if you just straightened out "own" and have "destroyer" straightened out beneath it.

Its not bad, but it is getting into the realm of looking like many modern hardcore/metalcore/whatever the hell else bands.

^It's true, just by looking at the logo, I'm thinking "metalcore". Even if you are that, try to at least make your logo stand out from the crowd.

Yeah. I'd try out something completely different, something you don't see many other bands do. Don't worry about trying to please your general fanbase with some mediocre carbon copy, try something new.

With that said, it looks like any other high quality "metalcore" logo. But if I saw it on a myspace friend list or something, I wouldn't bother clicking on it.

yeah... the one in the avatar isn't bad but this is basically just a banner for the top of our myspace... i wanted to keep it simple.

I'm gonna work on it more later and see what i can do with it...
