i have finnally narrowed down what pickups to put in my ec 500 im either going to keep active take out the 60 through in the 81 in the neck and put a duncan blackouts metal ahb-2 in the bridge or go passive put a dimarzio x2n in the bridge and a duncan distortion in the neck what do you guys think

depends on why ur changing them. ever try 18v mod on that 60? I hated my 60 til I did that. I have an EC500 also.

they make a neck version of the distortion...

I would go with the D'Activator X (it technically is the X2N) and put a duncan Full shred in the neck...

in my honest opinion, the duncan Fullshred neck (sh10n) is the best pickup made.

its the one pickup that sounds good for everything i have ever used it for...

did i mention that that pickup RULEZ

it does clean, and it does nasty...

i dont really like actives so i want passives but that blackout metal is pretty sweet and made me rethink
