Dunlop has some very nice leather straps. I bought one recently for my Horizon and I fucking love it - very sturdy and comfortable.

The most comfurtable straps ever are the leather 4.5 in wide levys

Try to get one that has a foam padding on the shoulder. It helps a lot if you guitar (or bass in your case) weights a ton. Make sure the strap holes are rigid. If they aren't, you will be playing catch with your guitar. That's not much of a problem though because it can be solved by installing strap locks.

tnx guys...im not from the US...
im from the Philippines and believe me, your average gear cost a lot in our country...
but i was lucky enough to get an LTD bass that i bought from ebay...
there are only about 2 stores selling ESPs or LTDs here...
and they sell it twice the cost...it maybe because of the availability but i don't know...
most straps sold in our music stores here are expensive and some are down right crappy...
im planning to buy a strap from ebay but before doing that, i wanna ask your opinion guys...
just wanna make sure im making the best choice...
we are not that lucky enuf to have decent gear so that's why im asking...

This is what I got for my Horizon along with a set of Straploks :

And I am more than satisfied with the outcome. The strap feels stiff, which I like quite well as the guitar stays in the same position as you want it and doesn't move around unless you move it.

a strap is the most simple device on the whole planet, if you can't buy a decent one for a fair price i would totally just make my own.
age 15 i made my own from 2 old leather belts my sister no longer wore,
i used that one strap from age 15 to about age 33, in numerous bands so it got plenty of stage use as well as all my practicing at home. and the reason i never replaced it when i had more money was because everything else available sucked at the time, not just the cost factor i mean the design of other straps was asinine, and NONE that i found were long enough for me and how low i wanted to hang my guitar. i couldn't believe every strap i ever found was too short, it was ridiculous.
it wasn't until the late 90s that i actually saw better designs -functionally- in straps, but even today i don't like the functionality of 90% of straps out there.
LEVYS has several SIMPLE designs of straps i love, so far they're about the only brand that even has a simple design that works for me.
i still have my homemade strap, i could still be using it today age 44 i wanted, leather lasts for many years and a guitar strap isn't getting harsh treatment like outdoor weather or such.
if i were you i'd probably make my own.
i have about the same rant on pedalboards - only recently have i seen a couple designs that were smart; MOST designs of them are so flawed and on top of that they are laughably overpriced in the $300 range and crap.
