Hi,
new member here and new ESP/LTD user. I just picked up a 2005 SC-600 at my local guitar shop and was wondering....it has the JB in the bridge. If I wanted to switch out the middle position pickup, what suggestions would you guys have? I've never owned a guitar with the middle humbucker like this before so I'm just looking for suggestions.

Also, if I decided to go with EMGs, would I be "better off" getting 2 81s or an 81/85 set? Any constructive advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

i went with keeping the JB in the bridge and getting a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck. Sounds great.

yea - i did. no one else replied so i thought i'd have a little fun. nothing wrong with playing with yourself, right?

the guitar i've got only has a bridge humbucker and a middle humbucker. so right now i have a JB in the bridge and a jazz in the middle.

i have to say, not just because i'm on an ESP site that i am EXTREMELY impressed with the quality sound and feel of the guitar and esp's in general (well, ok, ltd's). my local guitar shop (i try not to shop at GC) has just become a dealer so as soon as i have more cash, i'm getting another!!
