I love my Tesla Actives, because they sound almost exactly like EMGs, and they're half the cost.

My favorite pickup combo in my snow white Eclipse II is a Duncan JB in the bridge and an Alnico II in the neck. Great lead crunch tones and smooth tones in the neck.

Dimarzio Super 3. Works great in an alder bodied maple neck ebony fretboard super strat. It takes away some of the woods natural brightness but keeps the bottom nice and tight....lots of mids....yummy!

I love the EMG 85 in the bridge, with an EMG 89 in the neck. I also like the SD '59 in either position.

the 707s in my Loomis slay, but I really like the EVO7 in my Carvin, Air Norton 6 and 7 string versions, I did have an EVO in a mahognay body RG that didnt suck, but in my J Custom, the EVO did not agree the 6 string Tone Zone, NOT the 7

Bare Knuckle Pickups all the way. Especially the ceramic Warpig as a bridge pickup.
I've been impressed with all of the ones I've tried so far and can't wait to try more.

I just put a Suhr Aldridge zebra in the bridge of my ESP MII Maple board guitar. Sounds good! Not as hot as many pickups and not as dark as my Super 3 in my DK1....but its well balanced.......not to ice picky on the treble, the bottom end is nice and tight with great sounding mids. Cleans sounds great. This is an awesome 80's metal (Maiden, Dio) and old school thrash (early Metallica, Exodus) pick up. Does great hair metal tones too. What I like about it is how it picks up your pick attack. You can dig in and get it really mean. Leads sounds good. Its an alnico magnet so it doesnt have as much edge as a ceramic pup.....Its a mellower feeling pick up but with your playing and pick attack you can get it as rowdy as you want.

I'll get a clip up soon.

Bare Nuckle Pickups Painkiller (Bridge) and a Seymour Duncan 59' in the neck of my EC-1000VHB.

I am gonna get another BKP humbucker for my Strat soon with something (Unknown as of yet) in the middle and a Seymour Duncan Little 59' in the neck.

Im unshure wether my EC-500 OW is a keeper yet, If it isnt, im gonna trade it in for something, maybes a Gibson Les Paul Standard or a ESP Eclipse AHB or something else ESP, maybes a PH Sig.

I also may get a Schecter C-1 Hollywood soon, whitch will eventually get a BKP in the bridge of that if i get the axe.

Emg85 in the bridge big low end while remaining tight and very clear sounding for solos.I hate muddy pickups so these are def my fav

(Hijack Q) I hear the 18V mod gives this pickup more dynamics but does it really make much of a difference:confused:
