Next James Hetfield sig predictions [Archive]

Most of us know that Hetfield will most probably get a new sig when the new album comes out(whenever the hell that is...)
so make prediction of what it will look like
pics mockups would be a bonus

EDIT: Racing stripe along the top. Can't forget the gold racing stripe. :lol

Why?
He has tons of good guitars already. It'd be overkill to have yet another one coming. IF there's one coming, it won't be anything drastically new I guess.

I doub there will be another one. He and Kirk did re-up their ESP endorsement but he seems to love the truckster so damn much. In all the metclub studio pix there are so many of him using it, and at Ross Hlafins site there are tonzzzzzzz of pix with him and the truckster :)

Gibson LP sig?? My own copy when monty get's me back the 81 as it was a little messd up and I start relicing the rest of it. ;)

the cleans with the standard pus are great. never played it with emgs. but your vids sean sound awesome.

i think i'll get one next year. right now i need some money for a new amp and maybe the new explorer gothic II.

i saw him playing a gibby LP black finish...but it seemed that it is a black satin.

i think this black satin guitar is still old and he got 500 new LPs since then :rollin

I dunno, the new pic on the met club site said, look new guitar and was a pic of james with a what looked like a new black LPC unmodded, meaning not the toggle moved yet like he always does. :) It was not the satin purple one. I like that one a lot. Wish he played that more. Still one of my favs he never plays is that Kucstom Culture with iron cross inlay JH-3 eclipse :(

It is in varnish process now.
But this is a one off only for him...

Yep. But I doubt it. Aside from the JH-1 (red or green), James hasn't really had any other Vs except his original, and his very brief flirtation with the King V.

But Explorers and LPs... oh yeah. Plethora of those. :lol

I'd say its the ring around the upper toggle. Doesn't look right on an eclipse. Not to mention the headstock, which hasn't got the diamond abalone thinger that LPC's have.

I'm convinced that Hetfield doesn't really care what he plays anymore. He gets given so many guitars that i think he just plays whatever he's given at that time.

Man. I REALLY dig that. I think I just dig guitars with racing stripes in general, even though I couldn't care less about anything related to racing 8o I liked those racing stripe Fenders they had a few years back, and even that Gibson Tom DeLonge one.

But yeah, that guitar, very nice. :hat

ESP said no new Het sigs this year. I doubt gibby will make one as I dunno but I think if you are endorsed by one company you can't have another one make you a sig, but dont quote me :)
